Help victims of torture

Every year, our doctors and psychologists see and hear horrific stories of people who tell us they were tortured and persecuted in their countries of origin. Often these people are traumatized and have difficulty telling what happened to them, causing them to miss out on international protection. In this case, they can request an examination from iMMO. The examination counts as medical support evidence which the asylum seeker can include in his or her flight file. The examination is free of charge for the suspected victim of torture and violence, and iMMO insists that the government pay for the examinations. Currently, however, the IND only pays in a handful of cases.

Since its inception, iMMO has been funded almost entirely by funds and individuals. You too can donate – once or structurally.

iMMO is a recognized charity with ANBI status. With a periodic donation you can fully deduct your gift from the tax. For this you can use the ‘Periodic cash gift agreement’ complete and send to iMMO.
