Help survivors of torture

Every year, our doctors and psychologists hear horrific stories of people who tell us they were tortured and persecuted in their countries of origin. Our doctors see their scars. Often these survivors of torture are traumatized and have difficulty telling what happened to them, causing their request for international protection to be denied. When this happens, they can request a forensic medical assessment from iMMO. The examination counts as medical support evidence in the asylum procedure. The assessment is free of charge for the survivor of torture and violence. 

Since its inception, iMMO has been funded almost entirely by funds and individuals. You too can donate – just for once or with a returning donation.

iMMO is a recognized charity with ANBI status. With a periodic donation of at least 5 years, you can fully deduct your gift from the tax. For this you can complete the ‘Periodic cash gift agreement’ and send a copy by email to iMMO.
